Nice Guys Terminology

Anti-Nice Guy ("Anti" for short) – A guy who behaves in the opposite manner as a nice guy. He is typically loud, obnoxious, and offensive to women. He doesn't realize how unattractive his behavior is to women, although women tend to confide in Nice Guys how much they dislike being around an Anti.

Bothersome Environments – One of three types of environments in which to meet women (the other two are Naturally-Inviting Environments and Moderately-Inviting Environments). Bothersome environments are the toughest environments in which to meet women, because you are interrupting them from some other activity. Unfortunately, bothersome environments are also the most common places to meet women. These include: bars, bookstores, concerts, subways, buses, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, festivals, parks, and walking down the street.

Category 1 Guy – One of the three categories of guys who traditionally got women. Category 1 guys are really good-looking.

Category 2 Guy – One of the three categories of guys who traditionally got women. Category 2 guys are rich.

Category 3 Guy – One of the three categories of guys who traditionally got women. Category 3 guys are famous (including local celebrities).

Category 4 Guy – The new category of guys who attract women: Nice Guys.

Direct Vouch – A positive statement about you from a female friend of yours to a female friend of hers. An example is, "Jen, you have to meet my friend Dave!! He is really awesome!!" Receiving direct vouches is one of the best ways to meet new women. As you develop into a Nice Guys, you will receive more and more of these.

Indirect Vouch – This vouch occurs when you and the girl you’ve just met have a close mutual female friend. This girl that you’ve just met will be much more receptive toward you, knowing that you are good friends with a friend of hers.

Moderately-Inviting Environments – One of three types of environments in which to meet women (the other two are Naturally-Inviting Environments and Bothersome Environments). Moderately-inviting environments are, as the name might suggest, moderately easy places to meet women. Some examples include: a co-ed sports team, a wine-tasting class, the local chapter of your alumni association, and a church or temple. When women are in these environments, their primary purpose often isn't to meet new people. They are usually, however, aware that they will meet new people through these groups and clubs, and thus are moderately inviting toward men who may approach them.

Naturally-Inviting Environments – One of three types of environments in which to meet women (the other two are Moderately-Inviting Environments and Bothersome Environments). Naturally-Inviting environments are the easiest environments in which to meet women, such as at a party where a mutual friend is likely to introduce you.

Relinquishing Short-Term Sexual Desire – Conveying an attitude toward women that you are interested in them as a person, not as a sex object.

Subconscious Vouch – This subtle vouch is extremely powerful. This vouch occurs when you bring a fun, attractive female friend somewhere with you, and other women there see you with her. Subconsciously these other women think you get along well with all women. They will naturally desire you more because they see other fun, attractive women who also enjoy your company.

Vouch – The positive response a female has toward you as a result of something positive she has seen or heard about you from other females. There are three types of vouches—the direct vouch, the indirect vouch, and the subconscious vouch.
